We are looking for 10 fantastic First Nations individuals to join Westpac’s Know Your Customer Program as a Trainee. We are looking for people who are keen to learn, grow and make a real impact by ensuring customers are properly verified and support the team to meet all regulatory standards – all while gaining hands-on experience and learning from the best!

As a KYC Trainee, you’ll get to:

• Learn the ropes of KYC Identify Verification processes
• Support onboarding activities and help maintain compliance
• Build skills to manage customer and stakeholder relationships
• Understand risk management, compliance, and industry regulations
• Get comfortable with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

No qualifications? No experience? No problem!

This is an entry-level Traineeship, so we are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. Whether you’re fresh out of school or looking to change careers, this is your chanced to dive into the world of Banking and Finance, and start building the skills that will set you up for success!

We are looking for people who:

• Have a strong interest in Banking and Financial Services
• Work well in a team and love to learn new things
• Are open to feedback and ready to develop new skills
• Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
• Are eligible to complete a Traineeship according to Government guidelines
