As part of this apprenticeship you will complete a nationally recognised trade qualification – Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (Fitting/ Machining) Trade

Some of the duties will include:

• Trouble shoot, identify faults and rectify issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Fabrication, machining, fitting and assembly work.
• Complete repairs in a safe and efficient manner within set time-frames.
• Engage in making, fitting or repairing mechanical equipment for optimum conditions and for intended use.
• General workshop and maintenance duties
• Able to understand electronics

To be considered for this position, you will:

• be mechanically or electrically minded.
• have the ability to work with your hands.
• have great communication skills.
• possess a can-do attitude.
• have good problem-solving skills.
• well organised, reliable and flexible.
• like working within a team and co-operate with others.
• be able to understand and follow workplace WHS requirements.
• hold a current driver’s licence and have own vehicle.
