We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic candidate to study towards a Cert III in Early Education and Care via an Australian Apprenticeship to join our team in Loftus. The centre is a brand-new state of the art centre with a natural outdoor playground that creates a loving and nurturing environment.

We prioritise the safety, wellbeing, and rights of all children and maintain a strong culture of child safety and childcare standards. As part of our commitment, we have a rigorous recruitment and screening process in place, including comprehensive reference checks, Police checks and child-safe employment checks.

Little Loftys is a family run boutique centre, with the owner working in the centre, it is a collaborative working environment. We nurture and invest in our teams and provide a real family experience for our employees. We have an established management team that have worked together since 2004. Over 40 trainees have graduated through our centres.

Qualifications & Experience

• Will work and study towards a Cert III in Early Education and Care via an Australian Apprenticeship.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible for this traineeship position.
• Must be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
• Is an excellent communicator, with well developed written and verbal skills.
• Proven willingness to learn and improve.
• Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.
• Drive for professional success.
• Full-Time work commitment with flexibility of hours between 7.00am-6.00pm.

• Create a welcoming environment for families and support them to feel a sense of belonging to our community.
• Time given to study during normal business hours.
• Supporting educators with providing high quality care and education.
• Commitment to early years learning and best practice.

The Nitty Gritty

• Salary Package based on award
• Position is full-time – 5 days per week and a monthly rostered day off (RDO)
• Ultra fast internet and computers to make your admin quicker and easier.
• Our hours of operation are 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We are closed public holidays and we close for two weeks over Christmas.
• Plenty of parking is available and we are a 3 minute walk to Loftus Railway station and shopping village.
