It is the vicious cycle that many young people face when transitioning from study to the workforce – a job requires years of experience, while young people haven’t had an opportunity to gain the experience needed.
The Youth Partnership was formed to help young people make the successful transition from school to work or further education. Through our ongoing relationships with employers across Sydney, we coordinate work placements for students studying Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses as part of their HSC.
Our programs help students prepare to find meaningful employment, allow employers to increase their resources and provide support for teachers.
Productivity Bootcamp is a transformative 8-week program designed to equip young people with the practical construction skills and work values needed to thrive in the industry. Through hands-on experience across multiple trades, participants gain the foundational knowledge and confidence required to step onto a job site and contribute effectively and safely from day one.
With a roll-up-your-sleeves approach, Productivity Bootcamp provides practical, face-to-face training that challenges and motivates participants to develop the skills employers value most. Our mission is simple yet impactful: to train, equip, and upskill the next generation of workers through engaging, hands-on experiences that prepare them for meaningful employment and a strong start in their careers.

Navigating the transition from school to the workforce or further education can be challenging for young people. The Careers Advisors Association is dedicated to supporting careers advisors in NSW as they guide students toward meaningful career pathways.
By fostering strong connections between schools, industry, and higher education providers, we empower careers advisors with the resources, training, and industry insights they need to help students make informed decisions about their futures.
The Careers Advisers Association works closely with TraineeConnect to connect all students in NSW & ACT directly to suitable Apprenticeship, Traineeship & Work Experience opportunities.
